View all search resultsA 2019 report by LGBT rights organization Arus Pelangi showed that between January and February 2018, 45 statements containing hate speech against the LGBT community were expressed by executive and legislative officials, law enforcers and public figures.
This year, Depok recorded 3,732 hectares of designated green space, or 18.63 percent of the city’s total 20,029 ha of land. The area has decreased significantly from the 10,106 hectares recorded in 2005 due to the city’s rapid development.
Whether the idea is to become part of a new Greater Bogor province or to merge with Jakarta, the people of Bekasi and Depok seem to be disgruntled with their statuses as "merely" satellite cities.
