40,000 security personnel on guard for Jokowi’s final open rally
Thousands of security personnel comprising the police, Indonesian Military (TNI) and public order officials (Satpol PP) have been deployed to secure the final open rally of incumbent candidate Joko “Jokowi” Widodo at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK) in Jakarta on Saturday afternoon, which will be followed by the presidential debate in the evening.

Prabowo claims 1 million people were in stadium on Sunday. Jokowi supporters say impossible.
Presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto claimed 1 million supporters attended his open rally at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium on Sunday. Based on research from a professor of Manchester Metropolitan University, the number might be closer to 143,000.
