View all search resultsThe hospital is being built on a 16 hectare site that was previously used as a camp for Vietnam war refugees in the 1970s and will comprise two areas: zone A, as the dormitory for medical workers and the management of the hospital, and zone B for treating patients.
While Singapore has established a protocol and heightened border surveillance to prevent the further spread of the disease, Indonesia has only started testing suspected patience and taking measures to minimize close contact between people.
On Sunday, the Indonesian Military (TNI) and the National Police inspected the site planned for the hospital, which was formerly used as a camp for Vietnam War refugees in the 1970s before being shut down in 1995.
