View all search resultsThe president director of an Indonesian and Chinese consortium for Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway project PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC), Sahala Lumban Gaol, has welcomed an idea to extend the project to Kertajati International Airport in Majalengka, West Java.
Coordinating Maritime Affairs Minister Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan has said the government is studying the possibility of extending the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train project to connect the newly constructed Kertajati International Airport in Majalengka, West Java, and even Yogyakarta and Surakarta in Central Java.
With the Jakarta-Bandung railway project now stagnant, Maritime Affairs Coordinating Minister Luhut Pinsar Pandjaitan has said the government needs to review the project, including whether the two cities need to be connected with a high-speed railway.
