View all search resultsIndonesia is shelving a plan to nominate Jakarta's Kota Tua area in West Jakarta to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site until next year, pending the revision of its proposal to narrow the area covered in the nomination.
Many tourist attractions await the thousands of visitors flocking to Jakarta's Kota Tua (old town) area during these Idul Fitri holidays. Not only do the visitors get to go to museums, they can also have their photograph taken with Sukarno or a Chinese princess from centuries ago.
