Marcus and Kevin eye Dubai title as Tontowi and Liliyana stopped
World number one Marcus Fernadi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo of Indonesia secured a final spot in the BWF Dubai World Superseries 2017, while compatriots Tontowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir failed to advance on Saturday.

Indonesia saw two of its badminton pairs advance in the season's final tournament, with men's doubles favorites Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo and mixed doubles pair Tontowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir having secured semifinal spots in the 2017 BWF Dubai World Superseries Finals.
