For its 40th anniversary, legendary theater group Teater Koma has prepared something special. The group will recreate one of its popular shows, Opera Ikan Asin (Salted Fish Opera) as a celebration of the group’s long journey.
Celebrating its 40th anniversary, renowned theater troupe Teater Koma is set to revive one of their legendary plays, Opera Ikan Asin (Salted Fish Opera), on March 2-5 at the Ciputra Artpreneur in Lotte Shopping Avenue, South Jakarta.
Following Semar Gugat, Teater Koma returns with one of its most popular plays, Opera Kecoa (Cockroach Opera). Slated to run until Nov. 20 at Graha Bhakti Budaya at Taman Ismail Marzuki, Central Jakarta, the three-hour play narrates a story revolving around minorities in Jakarta who are searching for justice.
