After violence erupted between drivers of app-based transportation companies and conventional transportation firms during protests in several cities recently, the National Police met with ministries and regional authorities to discuss ways to prevent such conflict.
Despite ride-hailing apps such as Gojek, Grab, and Uber helping to reduce the unemployment rate, the government should focus on creating formal sector-based industrialization next year, an economic watchdog has said.
