View all search resultsIndustry Minister Airlangga Hartarto has said the government would go ahead with its plan to launch a new negative investment list (DNI) policy on Nov. 26, despite protests from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin).
The government will allow foreign investors to have full ownership in 25 business units, among the 54 business units that were removed from the Negative Investment List (DNI) stipulated in the 16th economic policy package announced earlier this week.
The Indonesian Consumers Foundation (YLKI) has criticized the government for withdrawing the cigarette industry from the negative investment list (DNI), which was part of the economic stimulus package announced by the government on Monday.
