The annual Nusa Dua Fiesta is set to return on Nov. 12 and run until Nov. 20 in a bid to lure in more foreign tourists to Bali.

For one whole week, those visiting Bali can participate in the festivities that include art and cultural performances, as well as culinary events and sporting and entertainment events. The Julio Iglesias' concert on Nov. 12 is one of the highlights of the festival.

"Bali contributes up to 45 percent of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia. Hopefully we can increase the number, especially at the end of the year, by holding interesting events," said Tourism Minister Arief Yahya as quoted by Antara news agency on Monday.

Last year, 10.4 million foreign tourists arrived in Indonesia and up to 4 million of those entered the country through Bali. (fmn/kes)
