The 2016 Festival Jajanan Minang will reportedly feature a wide array of traditional Minang and Indonesian dishes, including Sate Padang Mak Syukur, Lontong Kacang Padang Tacik Telo, Rendang Asese, Minang snacks from Christine Hakim and Es Duren Sakinah from Bandung, West Java.

In addition to the food celebration, the event will also host traditional Minang dance and music performances.

The festival is said to be the first food festival organized by the Anak-anak Minang (Minang descendants) community. On its Facebook page, the group stated that the festival would start at 9 a.m. and had no entrance fee. (kes)
