There are 31 tourist villages in Sleman regency, 10 of which have home stays.
Speaking during the Greater Joglosemar workshop held by the Tourism Ministry for journalists on May 4, Sleman Regent Sri Purnomo said 300 home stays were ready to welcome visitors. Their prices range from Rp 80,000 to Rp 110,000 per day, inclusive of three daily meals. The home stays cater to students, companies, foreign tourists and families.
