ota Kasablanka Mall in South Jakarta is currently hosting the Japan Travel Fair, and visitors have until Sunday to get their hands on special offers.

Held for the eighth time by the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) Jakarta, the event runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and particularly highlights four destinations, namely the prefectures of Hiroshima, Okinawa and Wakayama as well as the Kanto region (Gunma, Saitama, Tochigi). Among the Japanese exhibitors participating at the event are the Shinkansen railway operator, hotels and regional administrations.

According to an official statement, the fair boasts various offers, such as special prices on return tickets to Japan from five airlines for the travel period of Aug. 25, 2017 – June 30, 2018; attractive travel packages including the JR Pass, theme park tickets and SIM cards/WiFi from 20 travel agents; cashback and installment offers for HSBC credit card holders as well as a lucky draw and purchase prizes. 

Visitors can also enjoy entertaining shows, such as a ninja attraction by Edo Wonderland Nikko Edomura, storytelling by renowned actor Nicholas Saputra, talk shows with travel bloggers and Studio Ghibli's Totoro photo corner. (kes)
