Ijen Summer Jazz 2017 is slated for October 6-7 at the Jiwa Jawa Resort Ijen in Icin district, Banyuwangi regency.

This time around, the festival will be held on two consecutive days. It will feature four performances per day.

The festival will open with a performance from Student Jazz Banyuwangi, followed by Luanada, feat. Matthew Sayersz, the Nonaria group and Bonita.

The first day will close with the Sri Hanuraga Trio featuring Dira Sugandi.

Student Jazz Banyuwangi will perform once more on the second day, followed by Bali’s Tropical Transit and Bintang Indrianto Festival.

For the ultimate closing, Ijen Summer Jazz will feature legendary Indonesian singer Vina Panduwinata and musician Dian HP. 

Banyuwangi Regent Abdullah Azwar Anas S.Pd., S.S., M.Si., said in a press release that Ijen Summer Jazz was part of the “Banyuwangi Experience” of local culture, jazz music, the wonders of the Ijen mountains and a cool climate.
