ant to set sail with the Powerpuff Girls and Ben 10? How about partying with Teen Titans and Johnny Bravo all night long? It’s all possible aboard Cartoon Network’s very own cruise liner, the Cartoon Network Wave.

The ship – a joint project between global media company Turner and cruise management company Oceanic Group – is the world’s first ever to offer a fully-thematic Cartoon Network experience.

Featuring Jake the Dog as the titular character spanning across the vessel’s facade, the ship’s theme and entire onboard experience is inspired by Cartoon Network’s characters from iconic shows such as Adventure Time, Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls and We Bare Bears.

Oceanic Group chief executive officer Daniel Chui said the initiative capitalises on the region’s growing cruise travel market.

“Cartoon Network Wave heralds the start of a new vacation experience for cruise-goers in Asia where cruise travel meets personalised journeys through experiential story-telling,” he said.

The 2,000-guest ship features 800 fully-themed cabins and suites, including two of the world’s first triplex suites.

The Cartoon Network Wave is currently docked in Singapore. It will make its maiden voyage to 13 popular destinations in Asia Pacific late this year.

More details on the booking dates and itineraries will be released at www.cartoonnetworkwave.com.
