he played the role of one of the most iconic shoe addicts of our times, so it is only natural that Sarah Jessica Parker wants to spread the joy.

The actress, who famously portrayed the shoe-loving Carrie Bradshaw in "Sex and the City," wants to take two fellow footwear fiends shopping in New York City, all in the name of charity, as reported by WWD.

Parker has teamed up with the charitable platform Omaze to launch a new competition supporting Opening Act, an organization that provides theater programs in disadvantaged public schools across the city's districts. Entrants can make a donation to the cause to be in with a chance of winning flights for two people to New York City, as well as a champagne toast and a shopping session with the actress at one of her own eponymous SJP Collection boutiques. The winner will receive four pairs of shoes to take home.

"I'm just wondering if anyone might like to go shoe shopping with me in New York City?" the star asked her 5.5 million Instagram followers, posting a video in which she details the contest.

Parker first launched her SJP fashion label back in 2014, focusing on colorful, fashionable shoes with a signature grosgrain ribbon detail. The star has since added accessories and a series of ‘LBD' little black dresses to the lineup, in addition to flexing her design muscles via clothing collaborations with Gilt and Gap Kids.
