The University of Indonesia’s (UI) School of Social and Political Sciences has introduced a distance learning classroom.

The project, titled Distance Learning Project, is a joint effort between UI and Busan University of Foreign Studies (BUFS), South Korea. Research networks Indonesian Research and Education Network (IDREN) and Korea Advanced Research Network (KOREN) support the project.

The classroom provides technologies such as electronic whiteboard systems, digital information display and 3D printers along with their materials. They allow remote classes to have face-to-face meetings through a screen and share a whiteboard that is connected in real-time.
