As Christmas and the New Year are getting closer, MoboMarket (http://mobomarket.co.id) is launching an attractive program dubbed Gebyar Hadiah Kejutan dari MoboMarket (MoboMarket's Surprise Gift Festivity) for its loyal customers on Dec. 22.
MoboMarket is an Android application store developed by Baidu. Besides highlighting local applications from Indonesia, it also serves as an alternative application store to all Android users in the country.
Since it was launched in Indonesia on February, MoboMarket has been downloaded more than 5 million times and gained more than 2 million active users. Presently, it has more than 500,000 applications in store; 1,000 of them are locally made.
Starting from Dec. 22, the surprise gift program will gradually commence until February 2015 as an expression of gratitude from MoboMarket to all its users in Indonesia.
The gift itself will include various types of smartphones and tablets, power banks and BerDU dolls (Baidu bears as the icon of Baidu Browser).
"To celebrate the New Year and express our gratitude, we want to give presents to all MoboMarket users in Indonesia. This program is also part of MoboMarket's first anniversary celebration in Indonesia that will fall on February 2015," said Baidu Indonesia head of business mobile Lin Yi.
"All Android users can join this program by simply downloading and installing the latest version of the MoboMarket application into their smartphone," added Lin Yi.
After the MoboMarket application has been installed into their Android phone, users will have to register, open "Tugasku" menu and work on all the tasks available to get points. Each point they get will be added automatically by the system. Users can check their points through MoboMarket and exchange them with any gifts they like; each gift will have different point values.
