The adrenaline-rushing Macao Grand Prix car race will be held in the city from Nov. 17 to 20.

The Macao Grand Prix is famously known as one of the most demanding circuits in the world. Built in 1954 the Guia circuit was originally designed as a route for treasure hunts around the streets of the city. However, the narrow, twisting Guia street circuit of Macao city, was suggested as a host for an amateur racing event for local motor enthusiasts. Ever since then the track has become a venue for both motorcycle and car-racing events!

The world-renowned Guia street circuit will be a visual spectacle with some of the best racers in the world up against each other for the cup.

The prestigious Suncity Group Formula 3 Macao Grand Prix has also received recognition from the governing body of motor sports, the International Federation of Automobiles (FIA), which has elevated the race to the FIA F3 World Cup, the second FIA World Cup event Macao will host after the debut FIA GT World Cup last year.
