Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) delivered a solid performance in the second quarter of 2022, solidifying their place as one of the most preferred digital telecommunication companies in Indonesia.

At Rp 11,654 billion, the company’s total revenue saw an increase of 7.2 percent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), along with a 50.3 percent increase year-on-year (YoY) to Rp 22,527 billion for the first half of the year.

The company saw an increase of total revenue, EBITDA, subscribers, Average Rate Per User (ARPU), and net profit compared to last year. Latest findings show Rp 9,178 billion of EBITDA, which is an equivalent of 40.7 percent of the margin. Net profit for the first half of 2022 stood at Rp 3,260 billion, while the total subscriber increased by 1.6 million to 96.2 million in the second quarter. Furthermore, the company’s ARPU increased by 9.2 percent to Rp 35,000 and data traffic rose by 9 percent in the second quarter.
More specifically, the growth and trustworthiness of IM3 and Tri are evidently shown through the brands’ higher NPS (Net Promoter Score) numbers, which has substantially increased for both.
After merging in early 2022, IOH are currently continuing its network integration process with MOCN (Multi Operator Core Network) technology, a process expected to be completed by the end of this year. IOH welcomed the second quarter by a collaboration with Lintasarta, and BDx to launch a joint-venture to accelerate Indonesia’s digital transformation with a new hyperscale-focused data center company.
In cementing their place as Indonesia’s most trusted communication company, IOH was chosen as the official 5G partner of Jakarta E-Prix. They will also launch 5G services in Bali to support the series of G20 Presidency agendas, along with promoting the government’s agenda to promote tourism recovery and economic growth.
