There will be thousands of children's books to select from at the sale, one of the biggest in the world.

A love for reading must be nurtured from a young age and this upcoming long weekend sale is the perfect chance to introduce your kids to reading via Big Bad Wolf.

However, there are several things to consider before bringing your children:

A child area will not be available

There is a children’s book section, but it is located in the same room as all the other books. There is no allocated space for you to leave your children while you browse books.

Consider the gap

Book tables will be divided into rows separated by 1.5 meter wide corridors. Sure, a kid trolley can get through but take into consideration that all visitors will be wheeling their own book trolley and the event is likely to be busy.

The Big Bad Wolf organizer expects up to 30.000 visitors each day during the long weekend and it may be difficult to navigate the crowd. There is a risk that your children may get lost among the crowd.

Bring the nanny

While it is possible to carry your children, it may hamper your ability to browse the selection of books. If it is necessary to bring your children to the fair, it may be worthwhile bringing your nanny too. They can wait with your children in the cafeteria while you shop.

Extended queues

As people will be purchasing books in bulk, the queue is expected to be relatively long. The wait may be boring for your children. Kids can get impatient and it is possible that they may throw a tantrum.

Consider shopping at night

The sale will be open 24 hours so you can go there after your kids have fallen asleep. Remember, you don't have to bring your kids, what matters for them is the reading, not the shopping.
