f you haven’t watched this week’s episode of Game of Thrones then we suggest you click on another articles to read instead.

First thing first, let’s talk about the long awaited reunion between the Starks that makes fans everywhere weeping for joy. Just when Jon Snow was about to leave Castle Black, Sansa, together with Podrick and Brienne, comes knocking on the front gate, which then lead to Jon checking out the courtyard to see who those strangers might be. Seeing the look on both of Ned Stark’s children when they see each other and share a hug is just pure delight.

Another first meeting happened in Castle Black as well, that is between Brienne and Tormund Giantsbane. Since there’s definitely a romantic spark going on between these two, it’s about time for Brianne to finally get a man who only has eyes on her (remember: Renly Baratheon and Jaime Lannister). On top of that, the newly anointed Lord Commander Eddison Tollet approves (well, technically he raises an eyebrow and gives an eye roll) of the chemistry between these two.

This whole lovely get-together quickly turns sour when Jon receives a letter from Ramsay telling him that he has his  little brother Rickon being held captive and demands his bride back. Jon who was first just felt tired of fighting is convinced by the letter and Sansa herself who tells him she’ll do it on her own if she has to march to the Winterfell and take back their home.

A quick recap in the Winterfell, Osha tries to kill Ramsay by seducing him and we secretly hoped that she would be the one who managed to do that, but then again it’s Ramsay we’re talking about, the sadistic creepy bastard who fed his own half-brother and step-mother to the dogs. Just when Osha was about to reach the knife that’s just at an arm’s length, Ramsay stabs her on the neck and leave her bleeding to death on the floor while he’s busy peeling an apple.

Sisters making their brothers stronger are also the theme of the latest episode as we see Yara telling Theon to stop crying and Margery Tyrell having a reunion with her brother Loras and tell him to stay strong.

Speaking of what’s happening at the King’s Landing, Cersei are finally teaming up with her rival Olenna Tyrell for a scheming plot to take down the High Sparrow.

Petyr Baelish finally shows up after a long hiatus, he’s seen to have finally met Sansa’s cousin Robin Aryn and bringing him a real life falcon (he once gave the Lord of the Vale a crystal once and it quickly went out the Moon Door). Littlefinger successfully manipulates Robin in taking his army to the north to support Sansa; it’s unclear what’s the real motive behind this since we all know Littlefinger is one cunning man.

On to the Meereen where Tyrion is trying to handle things out with all of the slavery problems happening there. Tyrion works out his smart political mind and proposes to the leaders of other cities in Slaver’s Bay that they will be given seven years to abolish the entire slavery system. This decision was first not well-received by Grey Worm and Missandei (another couple the internet is rooting for) but in the end they agree to take side with Tyrion.

Biggest highlight of the episode? Hands down to Daenerys who burns the entire house down along with all the Khals in it. She emerges from the burning hut unscathed, albeit naked, and the rest of the Khalasar, including Jorah and Daario who are there in the first place to save her, bows down to the queen. (kes)
