hinese tech giant Huawei says it has filed lawsuits in the United States and China accusing rival mobile phone maker Samsung of violating its patents on key technologies.
Huawei Technologies Ltd.'s announcement Wednesday highlighted the rising status of Asian competitors as technology creators in the fast-growing global mobile phone industry.
Huawei said it wants "reasonable compensation" but gave no financial figure for its claim against Samsung Electronics Ltd.
