A photo of a couple embracing on a beach is the latest optical puzzle to confound the online community.
The picture, which was posted on image hosting site Imgur on Tuesday (May 24) with the caption "This hurts my brain...", seems to make it impossible to determine just where the woman ends and the man begins.
Her legs appear to be in front of him but her torso is behind him thanks to the blending of their clothes. The brain-teasing image has received more than 1.8 million views and sparked fierce debate.

mgur user Simitachi wrote that "I don't like this... it's messing with me too much", while PlbMak added: "Coool. Brain error 547."
Earlier this month, a photo of what appeared to be a rock trapped between two bricks made the rounds online, the Daily Mail reported.
Shrewd observers have since surmised that it was actually a cigar emerging from the wall.
