Here are 12 inspirational ideas if you're bold enough to attempt using multiple colors on your face and jump on the bandwagon of rainbow makeup enthusiasts.
Soft-blend with eyeliner
Pick several shades of different colors, and blend softly on your eyelids. Finish with strong eyeliner and well-defined eyebrows.
Blue below the eye
Use shades of blue on your lower eyelids, and contrast with multicolor shades on your upper eyelids. By applying blue beneath your eyes, you can create a heavier look, perfect for evening events.
Striking rainbow
Create a striking rainbow look by dividing cool and warm colors on the upper part of your eyelids and applying them boldly. Finish with eyeliner and other creative effects for an artsy touch.
Rainbow highlighter
Use a rainbow highlighter product to create rainbows around your eyes.
Summery look
Get a fresh, summery look using rainbow makeup principles — mix the colors well and be creative. Make a bold statement using electric blue eyeliner.
On the eyes and lips
Instead of just coloring your lids with various shades, take it to another level by applying similar colors on your lips as well.
Rainbow eyebrows
Bring rainbows to your eyebrows using colorful eye shadow.
Harlequin
Instead of mixing rainbow colors on both eyes, separate blue and red for a Harlequinesque look.
Rainbow lashes
Try a more detailed look by applying rainbow colors to your eyelashes.
Color the whole eye area
Color your eyebrows, lashes and lids in rainbow. Tip: you can use lipstick to replace eyebrow pencils if needed.
Use glitter to enhance your rainbow look.
Choose blue as the focal color and then use red and yellow to create shades. Add a creative touch with colorful dots on the face and neck. (asw)
