The Literary Hub website, lithub.com, has launched a new book review aggregator.
Book Marks is differentiating itself from similar services that use star-rating systems and user-generated reviews by bringing in professional critics.
Said to be the Rotten Tomatoes for books, it currently has 70 professional book-review sources including The New York Times and HuffPost's weekly book review, and only adds new books to its website if at least three of the sources have covered them.
Instead of star ratings, it uses grades from A to F. “A” represents the highest score of 10, while “F” is the lowest score of 4.

“Book Marks will help readers discover books while spotlighting books that deserve more attention,” Literary Hub publisher Andy Hunter said in a press release on Tuesday. “We’re bringing it all together in one place.”
Literary Hub is a website for daily literary news and writing. Since its launch in early 2015, it has reportedly attracted 1.2 million visitors monthly. (kes)
