'Game of Thrones' seventh season premiere may be delayed

Fans of the popular fantasy TV series, Game of Thrones, may have to hold onto their horses because of the possibility the airing of the seventh season's premiere may be delayed.

ans of the popular fantasy TV series, Game of Thrones, may have to hold onto their horses because of the possibility the airing of the seventh season's premiere may be delayed. For a show that made “Winter is coming” a very popular catchphrase for years and ended the last season by declaing “Winter is here”, Game of Thrones finally surrendered to nature and will wait for winter to really come to recommence production.

Pay TV network HBO normally starts airing new seasons of Game of Thrones in April every year as the show runs for 10 weeks. Previous reports stated that the seventh season would consist of fewer than 10 episodes, although the exact number has yet to be confirmed.

In a podcast interview on UFC Unfiltered recently, show producers David Beinoff and Dan Weiss revealed, “We’re starting a bit later because at the end of this season ‘Winter is here’ and that means that sunny weather doesn’t really serve our purposes any more. So we kind of pushed everything down the line, so we could get some grim grey weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot.”

Speculation on whether the series will show more sunny regions of the Game of Thrones’ realm that got hit by the cold winter have risen among fans all over the internet, as the location selections could say a lot about the plot lines. The official air date of season seven has yet to be confirmed.
