S pop singer Selena Gomez entertained adoring “Selenators” - a term of endearment for her fans - at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition BSD in South Tangerang on Saturday. The singer arrived in Jakarta a day prior to the event, and was even spotted shopping and taking pictures with her fans at Grand Indonesia.
Selena celebrated her 24th birthday during the concert and said to her fans: “I’m so happy I can celebrate my birthday here.”
The singer kicked off the show with her hit Same Old Love, and followed it up with Good For You and a string of her well-known songs.
Just before delivering the encore Kill Em With Kindness, Selena got emotional.
“The next song, before I go home, is a song that’s so important to me,” she said in a pensive voice. “Because I get really frustrated. I get stupid sometimes. I say things that I don’t mean, or that come out wrong just because I care so badly. But the thing is, at the end of the day, no war in anger was ever won. I do know that deep down in my heart that I have to believe that we can love each other and always be kind no matter what it takes in us. I believe that we can do that, no matter what.”
Many believe the message had something to do with the recent Taylor Swift vs Kim Kardashian and Kanye West beef, in which Selena seemingly sided with Swift. However, shortly after exiting the stage, she posted this on Instagram.

The somewhat cryptic message provoked speculation, however Selena’s camp has not given any comment.
