orean actor Kim Woo-bin recently spoke frankly about relationships and gatherings, in an interview with fashion magazine Elle Korea, according to local reports.

He said in the interview, “You might see me as somebody who enjoys going out and going all crazy, but I prefer staying at home.

Nowadays I really like spending time in a gathering with actors I am close to, sipping on a glass of soju.”

Kim is close to actors such as Jo In-sung, Cha Tae-hyun, Lee Kwang-soo and Song Joong-ki, with whom he meets informally as friends.

“I don’t have high standards in taste, I prefer soju over wine. There is a big table at Jo’s place where we gather to talk and have some tea,” said Kim.

The actor added, “When there is time, I call anyone from the group to meet. Some people think that there would be jealousy since we are all doing the same job, but that is totally wrong. We share advice and tips when we receive our scenarios and when going through hard times. We become each other’s mentors.”

Kim also said that how he was brought up has affected the way he treats people.

“My parents say to cherish the people around me, and I try to meet their satisfaction by maintaining a long relationship with people I meet,” said Kim.

“I should be careful to women, but I say, ‘I love you’ a lot to my parents and people, whether they are men or women. Expressing myself is one of my strengths.”

Kim is currently acting in the KBS drama “Uncontrollably Fond.” His interview will be featured in Elle Korea’s August issue and on its official website.
