egions across the country are currently hosting art festivals including Yogyakarta in Central Java. Until Sept. 9, visitors can visit Condongcatur culinary park in Sleman to join the festivities that highlight the city's growing culture through the theme Masa Depan, Hari Ini Dulu (Today is for the Future).
“Yogyakarta's future depends on what we do today, including in the arts and cultural sector,” said Yogyakarta Art Festival head Ishari Sahida in an official statement.
The event consists of 16 main programs including fine art, literature, dance, theater and cinematography. It also hosts an exhibition by young artists, video-mapping project and an art market. In addition to the Condongcatur event, the festival can also be found in other parts of Yogyakarta.
