T

he world-renowned Vienna Boys' Choir is set to perform commercially in Indonesia for the first time as part of its Asian tour on Oct. 15-16 in Ciputra Artpreneur Theater in Kuningan, South Jakarta.

Ciputra Artpreneur president director Rina Ciputra Sastrawinata said the event aimed to bring "educational and highly professional" entertainment to Indonesian audiences. "I'm optimistic that this opportunity will be useful for us all to see that we too can have a career in singing," she said. "I hope that gradually, a career as musicians, in this case as singers, can be an alternative as a full-time profession in Indonesia."
