ocal game developers Semisoft and Tinker Games are working on a new PC game called Legrand Legacy slated to be released on entertainment platform Steam in early 2017.
Bandung-based Semisoft marketing and communication executive Bagus Suryo Nuswantoro said in a press release that the game would heavily focus on the Japanese role playing game (JRPG) genre with highlights that include detailed character designs and original soundtracks, and 2.5D visual spans that incorporate 3D-based character models and assets on top of 2D backdrops. For the cinematic cut-scenes, the game will offer 3D animation for character movements, as well as a turn-based combat system that may prompt players to plan their attacks and will have expected 30 hours or more of game play.

It was launched on Steam Greenlight, a platform where active Steam users vote on indie titles they want to see on the website, on Sept. 22 and received approval in just 12 days.
The game's demo will be released in about a month. While waiting, the cinematic trailer can be viewed below. (fmn/kes)
