The park's highlight is a 3D ride called "Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem", which will be set in supervillain Gru's home and laboratory. "Riders are invited to board a vehicle that has been developed by Gru, then run through his laboratory, fly through the air, and fall head over heels back down to earth", says a recent press release.
Visitors can also expect to enjoy other facilities at the park, which includes a toy store, sweets factory and a hotel.
Both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood already play host to "Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem", which reportedly attracts huge crowds. (fmn/kes)
