ang Gary of hip-hop duo Leessang and co-host of SBS variety show “Running Man” will leave the show, producers confirmed Tuesday.

“Kang’s final scheduled date for the show will be Oct. 31,” a source from SBS was quoted as saying. “We appreciate his dedication to the program since it started from scratch.”

The source added SBS does not plan to recruit a new co-host in place of Kang. The show will be hosted by comedians Yu Jae-seok, Ji Suk-jin and Haha, actor Lee Kwang-soo, actress Song Ji-hyo and singer Kim Jong-kook.

Kang, who has hosted the Sunday prime-time entertainment show since July 2010, reportedly wants to concentrate more on his music career.
