ith a few more months to go before the the theatrical release, a new teaser has been revealed for the upcoming Hollywood live-action adaptation of Masamune Shirow’s “Ghost in the Shell.”
In similar style to the five initially released teasers, the new one lasts for only 14 seconds, but features yet another iconic scene from the original “Ghost in the Shell” animated motion picture.

Here we see The Major, played by Scarlett Johansson, appearing out of thin air wearing what seems to be an thermoptic camouflage suit. Of course, this happens after sucker-punching a perp that she had likely been chasing down.
Joined by a team from elite anti-cybercrime department Section 9, The Major is tasked with stopping cyber-criminals and extremists.
“Ghost in the Shell” will be in cinemas in March 2017.
