ince entering the Indonesian market in late March, Swedish music streaming service Spotify has made it easier to enjoy the latest music while being mobile.
Those who are new to the service might want to check out the tips below to ensure they are using the app optimally.
Manage playlists
Over time, you may find yourself saving favorite playlists to listen to at particular moments and the list may become disorganized. You can easily manage this using the Playlist Folder feature by hitting the File tab and creating a new Playlist Folder, then categorizing your playlists as you like.
Effective searching
The search box is quite smart, allowing you to search for certain music using the terms "year:" (try using a timeframe like "1992-1997"), "artist:", "title:" or "genre:". You can also utilize logic functions like "AND", "OR" and "NOT" for more specific results, such as "artist:Charlie Puth AND Selena".

Restore deleted playlists
Ever deleted one of your favorite playlists by accident? You can retrieve it by logging in and going to the Account page, then clicking the Restore Playlists option in the left column.
Enhanced sound quality
For the audiophiles out there, the service also offers premium membership that allows you to upgrade song quality to 320kbps.
Discover song meanings
For those who often wonder what a song is really all about, what inspired the lyrics, or why one musician chose to collaborate with another, you may find the Behind the Lyrics feature quite useful.
In collaboration with Genius, which collects song lyrics and crowdsourced musical knowledge, Spotify enables you to discover these insights by pulling down the song's artwork while you are listening to it. (fmn/kes)
