The Fenty Puma collection by Rihanna was launched worldwide on Sept. 7 before finally making it to Jakarta on Thursday.

The fall collection was inspired by a contemporary street style and Japanese culture. The latter's influence can be seen from the kimono-inspired pieces, such as the kimono tricot track jacket and pants, kimono maxi track jacket and pants and kimono long sleeve tee.

“The collection not only presents who I am and how I dress; I also want it to go beyond the boundaries,” said Rihanna in a press release, adding that she hoped her debut collaboration with Puma would bring something that was full of surprises.

“I tried to play with texture, silhouettes and luxury materials. I interpreted these features in a traditional way,” she said as she described her collection.

In October and November, Rihanna also launched Fenty Puma Creepers, a collection of sneaker heels and accessories, such as bandana caps and lace backpacks. (kes)
