E-commerce platform Elevenia has launched a new service that allows customers to shop directly for South Korean products.
“Through ‘Titip Beli dari Korea’ [Help Me Buy from Korea], we want to make it easier for customers to get their desired products from Korea, even if the goods aren't yet available on Elevenia,” Elevenia’s chief sales officer Kim Sung-su said as quoted by Antara news agency on Thursday.
Titip Beli dari Korea enables customers to make both individual and bulk purchase from South Korea. Interested users can access the promotional page on the website, look into the detailed information about the desired product and wait for the company to check the product's eligibility and final price with the vendor. Once the transaction is complete, the goods will be shipped to the buyer.

In addition to the new service, Elevenia has also opened a ‘Korea Avenue’ section that focuses on selling various Korea-related products, such as fashion, accessories, beauty, food and K-pop items.
The move by the online marketplace was reportedly in response to high demand for Korean products. For instance, the site recently sold 10,000 packets of Samyang spicy instant noodles in one day.
Elevenia is a joint venture by PT XL Axiata, Tbk and South Korean company SK Planet. By the end of July 2016, the e-commerce platform boasted more than 40,000 vendors and offered around 8 million lifestyle products. (wir/kes)
