ays after rumors of her “covert wedding” in Australia’s Byron Bay circulated in the cyberworld, Margot Robbie finally confirmed her marriage to longtime sweetheart Tom Ackerley.
The “Suicide Squad” actress flashed her posh sparkler to the online world on Tuesday with a caption-less Instagram post. Earlier a few weeks ago,Robbie, 26, shared a sweet portrait of her and Ackerley.
Also earlier this month, Robbie was photographed at Gold Coast clad in a shirt with words, “Say ‘I Do’ Down Under.” Several entertainment outlets revealed that Robbie had tied the knot with the British director over the weekend, with the newlywed’s families and close friends in attendance.

News.com.au reported that the couple pulled off a low-key wedding, only attended by 40-50 guests. They did not announce the location of their nuptials and guests moved to different locations by bus. Surprisingly, they had to surrender their mobile phones and cameras during the closed-door ceremony.
The couple met on the set of World War 2 film “Suite Française“ in 2013, where Ackerley was then an assistant director and Robbie played the role of Celine.
Robbie recently appeared in the films “The Legend of Tarzan” and “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.” She will reprise her role as psychotic heroine Harley Quinn in the upcoming “Suicide Squad” spin-off “Gotham City Sirens.”
