SNSD Seohyun to debut solo

eohyun from SNSD, also known as Girls‘ Generation, will make her solo debut in January, according to S.M. Entertainment, Tuesday.

The youngest member of SNSD, Seohyun will be the fourth member to venture into individual activities.

Taeyeon, Tiffany and Hyoyeon have all released solo albums recently.

S.M. said the exact date of Seohyun’s album release is still under negotiation. No further details are known as of yet.

Although Seohyun has collaborated with artists outside of SNSD, this will be her first official solo work since debuting 10 years ago.

As well as her album release this month, the starlet will also feature in Mnet OnStyle’s web-based drama “Ruby Ruby Love,” slated to premiere Jan. 18.

The 25-year-old will play a jewelry designer who has a fear of social gatherings.
