rench women are known for their youthful appearance despite their age. A notable surgeon from France, Michel Cymes, shares tips on how to stay young and live longer, as reported by Antara:

Consume more garlic

Garlic is filled with antioxidants and anti-aging nutrients. It is advised to eat uncooked garlic to get more of its nutrients.

Clean your fridge

Cymes highlights the importance of cleaning your fridge at least twice a month. Contrary to common belief, bacteria is actually able to live in cold conditions, which will surely affect the food and beverages that are kept inside the fridge. Cymes suggests people use sponges and white wine vinegar to clean the fridge before drying it off with a cloth.

Eat at the table

Cymes, who dislikes eating in front of a TV, believes that people tend to eat too much too fast while watching TV as they chew less. It is recommended to eat at the dining table, chew food well and avoid consuming excessive amounts of food.

Wear sunglasses

Sunglasses are used to protect people’s eyes and the surrounding skin. When you buy sunglasses, Cymes advises you to opt for the ones with larger frames, European standard and high quality.

Working out in the water

Aqua cycling is recommended as it keeps people’s heart rates low, while still cycling fast. It does not feel as exhausting as regular cycling, but it will make your muscles work harder.

Change your pillow

Some people rarely change their pillows due to comfort reasons. However, an old or worn-out pillow could cause neck injuries. It is recommended to invest in a pillow based on your sleeping position, such as a thicker pillow for those who prefer to sleep on one side, a slightly harder pillow for those who like to sleep on their backs and thinner pillow for those who like to sleep on their stomachs.

Stop trying to be perfect

Most people feel disappointed when they cannot have everything they want, but Cymes believes that trying to be perfect will always lead to failure. He says that all people have flaws, being different from other people makes you unique and that the world is actually far more complicated than just “good” and “bad”. (wir/kes)
