‘Galih & Ratna’ remake to hold music concert in February
A music concert will be held on Feb. 24 in tribute to the remake of Indonesian classic movie Galih & Ratna.

efore power couple Rangga and Cinta from Ada Apa dengan Cinta? (What’s up with Cinta?) captivated the Indonesian audience with their love story, Galih and Ratna have been known as Indonesia's most famous fictional couple. The iconic characters came from an Indonesian classic novel and 1979 film Gita Cinta dari SMA (Love Song in High School).
Directed by Lucky Kuswandi, the film’s remake is scheduled to be screened in March. Indonesian actors Refal Hady and Sheryl Sheinafia are cast as Galih and Ratna in the modern setting, replacing the original cast Rano Karno and Yessi Gusman, respectively.
Prior to the film's premiere, audiences can delve into the lives of modern Galih and Ratna via its soundtrack, and also by attending the “JOOX Galih & Ratna Music Concert”, which will be held on Feb. 24. Some notable names in the music industry will perform at the event, such as the trio Gamaliel Audrey Cantika (GAC), Sherly Sheinafia, Rendy Pandugo, Sore, White Shoes & The Couples Company, Ivan Gojaya, and Agustin Oendary.

Tickets will be sold on Jan. 26 with prices starting from Rp 99,000 ($7.43). The package already includes tickets for two persons, JOOX VIP for one month for JOOX users, and two tickets for Galih & Ratna's screening. Tickets are available in several outlets throughout the country, and also online at loket.com.
The concert is a collaboration between music streaming provider JOOX, production house 360 Synergy, Sony Music, Musica, and Rooftopsound. (asw)
