he American leisure motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson has officially launched its new dealership in Jakarta. Named Anak Elang Harley-Davidson of Jakarta and operating under the flag of PT. Anak Elang Motorindo, the dealer is located in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.
The new dealer offers several services for Harley-Davidson enthusiasts, one of which is providing the brand’s entire range of motorcycles, including the 2017 Touring lineup with its all-new Milwaukee-Eight engine, as well as the Harley-Davidson Street 500, which caters for a new generation of riders. Furthermore, the dealership also provides after-sales services, original parts to customize motorcycles, MotorClothes apparel, and rides.
Those wanting to service their motorcycles can make a reservation at the authorized Harley-Davidson Service Center, which has fully-equipped service bays and a viewing window enabling customers to watch the servicing process.
“Anak Elang Harley-Davidson of Jakarta promises an authentic ownership experience and commits to the dealership [while] playing a role as a home and gathering place for all riders and Harley-Davidson fans from across Jakarta and throughout Indonesia,” said the dealer's principal and long-time Harley enthusiast Sahat Manalu in a press release.
Meanwhile, the managing director of Harley-Davidson Asia emerging markets, Peter Mackenzie, expressed his pleasure regarding the opening.
“Harley-Davidson is back in business in Indonesia with a new network of independently owned dealerships in Indonesia,” he said. “We are happy to announce the opening of Anak Elang Harley-Davidson of Jakarta [that is] ready to serve existing and potential customers who have a passion for Harley-Davidson, with our range of motorcycles, parts and accessories, general merchandise and servicing capabilities.”
