he second day of the annual Indonesia Fashion Week 2017 at the Jakarta Convention Center featured various themes that celebrated local culture, among them were Pusaka Mutiara Maumere (Maumere's pearl heritage); Touch of Karawo from Gorontalo, which presented the charm of Gorontalo's traditional embroidery; and The Sun The Moon and The Stars.
Six designers participated in the Pusaka Mutiara Maumere show, namely Nita Seno Adji, Kunce, Verlita Evelyn, as well as Dana Duryatna, who presented his "Priya by Dana" collection at the main stage. Collaborating with premium bag brand Warnatasku Indonesia, Dana elegantly combined different patterns in one look.

Meanwhile, the Touch of Karawo’s Gorontalo theme brought together nine designers, namely Yurita Puji, Agus Lahinta, Abee, Vicky Setiono, Jimmy Fei Fei and Japanese designer Steven Tach, who displayed his "Fashunica" collection on the main stage.
Local celebrities Raffi Ahmad, Ayu Ting Ting and Jessica Iskandar also showed off their latest ready-to-wear collections under "The Sun The Moon and The Stars" theme at the event, which also featured a beauty conference and a Beauty in Serenity fashion show. (kes)
