F

ollowing her highly praised performance during the halftime show of the NFL Super Bowl 51 on Sunday, Lady Gaga is set to have a duet with heavy metal band Metallica at the 59th annual Grammy Awards stage on Feb. 12.

A promo clip of the event was tweeted by the artist's fan site on Monday and the plan has been confirmed by Rolling Stone.

Lady Gaga is no stranger to the Grammies as she paid a tribute to the late David Bowie at the ceremony last year. As for Metallica, the band's latest performance at the event was in 2014 where they shared the stage with classical pianist Lang Lang and performed their hit, “One”.

The event is also scheduled to feature a collaborative performance between Grammy nominee Demi Lovato, Andra Day, Tori Kelly and Little Big Town who will celebrate the music of Bee Gees and the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Fever. Adele, Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood and The Weeknd will also join the stage to entertain the guests and the audience at home at the ceremony. (kes)
