anadian songwriter and composer David Foster is scheduled to perform in Yogyakarta for the first time on April 6 at the Grand Pacific Hall.
The HITMAN David Foster & Friends Live in Concert will also present musician Brian McKnight, “queen of funk” Chaka Khan and American band Thirdstory.
“We’ve prepared to make this concert the biggest and most spectacular show in Yogyakarta,” said promoter Rajawali Indonesia Communication CEO Anas Syahrul Alimi to Antara news agency. “All of the musicians are ready to perform.”

Anas added that renowned local singers would also share the stage with Foster. “He requested Indonesian singers to collaborate with him, such as Marcell, Dira Sugandi and Putri Ayu."
Up to 60 percent of the tickets available, which start at Rp 350,000 (US$26), have reportedly sold out, including VVIP-class seating. (wir/kes)
