Singer and viral video sensation Psy has announced that his new album will be released in late April.

The South Korean star has not put out new music since December 2015, when he released his seventh album, Chiljip PSY-da, which included the tracks “Daddy” and “Napal Baji.”

A source from YG Entertainment said Psy had also finished filming the accompanying music video, according to Yonhap news agency. 

Psy first rose to fame with the song “Gangnam Style” in 2012, for which the music video has received nearly 3 billion views. (sul/kes)
