Song Joong-ki is tipped to receive the performer award at 2017 Korean Producer Awards slated for Friday.
Earlier Tuesday, a local media reported that Song would win the award at the ceremony.
Although the organizer neither confirmed nor denied the report, Song’s agency Blossom Entertainment confirmed the planned award for the actor.

Song starred on KBS’ hit drama “Descendants of the Sun” in 2016, which gave him the Grand Prize Award at KBS Drama Awards along with his co-star from the drama Song Hye-kyo.
Korean Producer Awards is an annual award ceremony organized by the Korean Producers and Directors’ Association. The ceremony recognizes TV and radio producers, production crew and performers for their contributions in Korean broadcasting.
