outh Korean beauty trade fair K-Beauty Expo is set to return for a ninth time to the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) in Gyeonggi province, South Korea, on Oct. 12-15.
Aiming to provide business opportunities and latest beauty trends in Korea, the event will feature various kinds of exhibitors, such as retail distributors and services of hair products, nail care, body shape management, cosmetic surgery, perfumery and fashion accessories.
Organizer KINTEX and Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) stated that participants would be able to take part in a business-matching program, consultation for domestic and foreign companies, as well as market research on South Korean pop culture fans.

Held annually at KINTEX since 2008, the expo is said to offer a “powerful springboard for efficient marketing of the Asian beauty market, attracting exhibitors and visitors from all around the world.”
According to the Korea International Trade Association, the export of Korean beauty products reached US$3.9 billion last year. Meanwhile, Korea Customs Service statistics reveal that skincare cosmetics had topped the imported product category in 2015 and among the products' largest importers were United States, France and Japan.
