Kim Hyun-joong of SS501 has been caught driving under the influence, the police said Friday.
On March 26, Kim drank with friends in Bangi-dong, Seoul, and drove his BMW vehicle a few hundred meters.
He passed out while waiting for the signal at an intersection. He was found at 1:55 a.m. by the police, who were dispatched to the site upon a report by the driver of a car behind him.

According to the police, Kim’s Blood Alcohol Concentration at the time was 0.075 percent, far above the legal limit of 0.05 percent.
Kim was investigated by the police and he said he had drunk about two cans of beer. His license was suspended.
“Kim acknowledges that it was a serious wrongdoing to have been behind the wheel, whatever the reason,” his agency Keyeast said. “He fully regrets his mistake and will be careful not to allow this to happen again.”
